YIN YOGA TRAINING
Yin Yoga is a tremendously nourishing practice physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically. It takes us on a journey within and provides a tranquil space for introspection.
This training, while comprehensive in its approach, invites students to enter a renewing space of self-discovery through learning. Whether you are a yoga teacher hoping to expand your teaching repertoire, or a Yin yoga enthusiast, our training will empower your personal practice and teaching career.

The curriculum is made up of four major subjects of practice and study: Asana Practice, Anatomy, Theory, and Teaching Methods.
This program is open to all levels of experience, those who wish to teach yin and those who do not; certified yoga teachers as well as passionate Yin yogis. This training will cultivate an empowered Yin practice and personal evolution through self-discovery, while providing thorough preparation and mentorship for the aspiring Yin teacher.
For RYT's: upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a continuing education certificate accredited by Yoga Alliance.
Our daily classes will hold space for you to deepen and nurture your own practice while demonstrating a full range of effective teaching techniques.

How to start a Yin self-practice
We take a modern approach to our philosophical inquiry. In this section we explore Daoism, Buddhism, Yogic philosophy and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

ANATOMY OF A YIN PRACTICE
Our anatomy inquiry draws on Yin yoga's innate potential to alleviate the physical and mental stresses of our modern daily life. We aim to ensure that the techniques we are teaching in class are safe, effective, and up-to-date.
Our approach and techniques are informed by Kylie's many hours of training and teaching in Yin yoga as well as her own practice experience.

Unique to our program is an additional training in Yoga Nidra ("Yogic Sleep" meditation). Yoga Nidra is a conscious state between waking and sleeping that is induced via a guided meditation. It is practiced laying down and is known for relieving stress, improving sleep and reducing anxiety.
This relaxation is very complementary to the Yin practice. Students graduating from our 50 Hours program will be able to conduct full Yoga Nidra meditations.

Kylie is the owner and founder of Omology Yoga. She has completed yoga teacher trainings at the 200 and 300 hour level. In addition to having completed multiple Yin Yoga trainings she possesses hundreds of hours of Yin teaching experience.
Known for her mindfully crafted Yin sequences and soothing playlists, Kylie has created this training in response to a need for deeper exploration into the practice and teaching of Yin Yoga.
Through this training she hopes to provide trainees with the tools for a soulfully empowered Yin practice and teaching career.

MORE THAN JUST A TRAINING
Our Yin Training recently became a separate offering from our 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training.
Yin is such a special practice and there is so much to learn, that we felt that it deserved its own moment.
Our Yin training content is unique in many ways. Some things we are particularly proud of:
Strong Regional knowledge: Our lead trainer, Kylie, has taught & practiced Yin for a number of years in Kuala Lumpur. Also being the owner of a studio, she has a lot to share in regards to teaching Yin yoga here!
Small groups: We don't believe in overpacking our trainings. We presently take in a maximum of only 10 students per training. This is for safety reasons (social distancing) and also so that we can ensure you receive personalized learning and feedback.
Practice Teaching & Feedback: Teaching your first Yin class can be scary, especially because the room is so quiet! This is why we begin practice teaching on Day-1 and provide ample opportunities throughout for trainees to learn the techniques that make holding a quiet space comfortable.
